How to Use the DAO Forum Testnet Faucet

We are excited to introduce the DAO Forum Faucet, a tool designed exclusively for our community members to easily acquire testnet tokens for development and testing.

This guide will walk you through the process of claiming ETH, USDC, and USDT on supported test networks.

Prerequisites

  • You must have a registered account on DAO Forum.
  • You must have an Ethereum-compatible wallet (like MetaMask or Rabby).
Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to the Faucet Go to https://faucet.daoforum.org. You will see the main dashboard showing live network statistics and the claim form.

Troubleshooting & Limits

Rate Limits:

  • You can make 1 claim every 24 hours per email or wallet address.
  • There is also a limit of 3 claims per IP address per 24 hours.
Common Errors:

  • "Wallet is inactive": To prevent abuse, we require your wallet to have at least 1 outgoing transaction (nonce > 0) on the mainnet or testnet. This ensures claims go to active developers.
  • "You have sufficient funds": If you already have a healthy balance of testnet ETH (e.g., >0.5 ETH), the faucet will ask you to use what you have. This helps ensure there is enough for everyone.
